CAR RENTAL FOR DRIVING TESTS:

The normal price for using our car for your driving test is €175.
This includes a one hour driving lesson just before your test. For many people this is essential to calm the nerves and get last minute tips and advice. You’ll have use of the car, with insurance for the purpose of your test. It will also include a test debrief to give feedback on your marks.

Discounts for tests:
We will reduce the cost of car rental for the test to €150 if: you have previously done your EDT lessons with us, take a bundle of at least four hours pre-test lessons with us before the day of your test or if you were unsuccessful in a previous attempt, when you had taken at least four hours of pretest lessons with us.  

Terms & Conditions

Tim’s Driving School

  1. Learner driver must produce a valid Learner Permit on first lesson.
  2. Learner drivers must be in a fit state to drive – the effects of alcohol, drugs, medication can last long after consumption. Tiredness or any other distractions can affect one’s ability to drive.
  3. Learner drivers have a duty to disclose any medical condition which could have an effect on your driving, also any convictions including penalty points or any impending prosecutions.
  4. We supply a free logbook to new clients.
  5. Lessons are €50(per hour) or €585 for the 12 EDT lessons paid up front. Car hire for the driving test is €175 (subject to being to test standard).
  6. A deposit of €50 must be paid in advance of first lesson.
  7. We require 24 hours notice of cancellation otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.
  8. All prices are correct at time of printing but subject to change in the future.
  9. Our primary objective is to promote road safety, to create a defensive driving mindset and to be responsible for our actions.
